The Weapon/Anti-Vehicle Model 7 Gungnir Non-linear Rifle is a directed energy weapon used by the UNSC during the Saulosian Campaign.

Design

The M7 Gungnir was designed to replace the aging M6 Grindel/Galilean weapons, more commonly known as Spartan lasers. While still operating the same way, the Gungnir is two-thirds the weight of the M6 and warms up to fire more quickly.
