Jason Miller discovers a secret someone who may be linked to Kyle Craig.

Chicago, URNA, December 24th, 2559, 1400 Hours

Lights and sirens could be heard in the distance as the young man slid the curtains close. He frantically searched the drawers only to find important things to pack and come up with nothing. Just clothes and other accessories that didn't seem to matter to him right now. He was panicking and his sense of insecurity only increased as the lights and sirens grew louder.

An unmarked squad car pulled into the motel with six police units trailing behind, their lights blazing and sirens humming. One after the next they surrounded the motel, covering the entire parking lot to ensure no way of escape.

Detective Jason Miller exited the vehicle urgently. He had been tracking down this ruthless killer for some time and now all the evidence led him here, ready for the capture. He knew that the criminal has been dangerous and cunning. Every time a case brought evidence against him, some technicality so slight it had to have been planned to let him slip away, and Miller wasn't about to let him escape now.

"What do we got?" He was walking with the officer and was presented with a data pad on the suspects whereabouts.

"Suspect's name is Kyle Craig. Wanted for robbery, malice, and first-degree murder. He was last seen in Wisconsin and made his way to Chicago."

Jason skimmed over the details.

"Well, looks like it's time for him to retire." Jason said, trying to imitate a Chicago gangster and failed.

He gave the signal and five SWAT troops poured out of the armored vehicle. They headed up the stairs and moved into position with guns at the ready.

"On three. THREE!"

One of the SWAT officers took out a strange looking device, placing it on the door in front of him. The device latched itself in place. A laser quickly carving out a hole big enough for the SWAT to toss a couple flashbang grenades. The blast from the explosion was deafening and the quick burst of light was blinding. They heard a man scream inside the small room and kick the door in.

Jason entered the room with his handgun trained on the target, the SWAT team trailing behind him.

"Hands up! Don't move!"

As the smoke began to clear, they were able to identify the man they captured.

"This isn't him. This isn't our guy." One of the SWAT officers called.

Jason lowered his handgun, but still kept it trained on the suspect, "Who are you?"

The man slowly went to his knees and placed his hands behind his head, trying to process everything that just happened, "I'm Jack. Jack Reacher."
