Terminal This fanfiction article, UNSC Navy Ship Naming Protocol, was written by Spartan-091. Please do not edit this fiction without the writer's permission.

United Nations ship naming conventions for the Space Corps Navy were established in 2521 by the United Earth Government's Assistant Secretary of the Navy Spiro T. Seamus. However, elements of the protocol had been in existence since before his time. If a ship is re-classified, for example, if a Destroyer is converted to a Troop Carrier, it retains its original name.
