The UNSC Naval Command (NAVCOM) is a subordinate echelon to the UNSC High Command, and is responsible for any and all space and sea based operations. As such, they are in direct command of the Navy, and coordinate heavily with the Unified Ground Command for operations. In addition, they are in charge of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command, the UNSC Merchant Marine, and UNSC Fleet Marines stationed aboard UNSC Navy ships.
