"Suit up people, this is for real."
―Ashcroft

Squadron Leader Theodore James Ashcroft IV is a human military officer of the UNSC Army, belonging to the New Harmony Land Forces Command. He is currently the commanding officer of 333rd Squadron, 11th Airborne, 1143rd Infantry Brigade. Ashcroft most notably served in the Seolnum crisis of 2550.

Biography[]

Background[]

Ashcroft is the son of a notable family that has lived in the lowlands of Huntington county, Tyumen Capital Region of New Harmony for centuries, having arrived with the first colonizing ships. Many of the past Ashcrofts have participated in the military, and Theodore is no exception. Passing through the Tyumen Military Academy near the top of the class, Ashcroft's combat experience up until the Seolnum outbreak was limited to minor altercations with rioters during a lengthy anti-government movement in 2543. The fighting ended with a siege of the rioter's base in the country. Ashcroft did not actively participate in the battle, but rather remained at the force's command post, removed from the battlefield by about ten kilometers.

Seolnum outbreak[]

Ashcroft was first alerted to the outbreak, although it was not first acknowledged as such, by a terse communique recalling all members of the 11th Airborne for a training exercise. Once they had been alerted to the true nature of the threat, he and the 333rd were deployed to evacuate villages in the affected areas, where they had their first contact with the infectees.
