The battle for Hat Yai, otherwise referred to as the Hat Yai campaign was a large scale military counter-offensive during the early years of the Human-Covenant war. While official sources state that the battle was dubbed as a decisive win for the United Nation Space Command, these revelations would be overshadowed 26 years later when a war journalist "Jake Courage" would disclose the true consequences of the battle and inevitably lead the Unified Earth Government in publishing the "civil archives and publications administration".
