About the HMG...

Heavy Machine Gun, AKA HMG, wouldn't be a good way to describe an automatic rifle, here are the definitions of both:

HMG: An automatic firearm with a high magazine capacity, and must have a weight that prevents it from being carried by a person, with a hindrance, a good example is the M2HB and M2A1, two modern day HMGs.

Automatic Rifle: A rifle able to be carried in combat by a soldier, with no assistance by another person, with the capability to fire semiautomatic or fully automatic, and have a repeating mechanism of operation, that fires continuously while the trigger is held back.

While it is your article, the wording "HMG" and "Automatic Rifle" are uncharacteristic of this weapon, it only qualifies as an "Infantry Automatic Rifle", which is a lightweight machine gun, about equal to the weight of a regular assault rifle. I'm just giving you the heads up, so that you know how to easily name and describe a gun, because, if it were to weigh more than a hundred pounds, then it would be impractical, thank you, have a nice day, goodbye.--The kennynator (talk) 00:14, August 11, 2013 (UTC)
