Sesa 'Refumee was a Special Operations Officer under the command of CommanderRtas 'Vadumee, and later the last leader of the Sangheili Heretics. He was the spouse of Senta 'Folum, and father of Shinsu and Tuka 'Refum. For the majority of the Human-Covenant War, Sesa was considered one of the most adept and brilliant officers in Sangheili Special Operations as well as one of the most credible warriors in the Refum family. After the destruction of Installation 04, he encountered its monitor who revealed the true purpose of the Halo array to him. The revelations led to Sesa making moves against the Covenant and rallying a group of defectors at a gas mine orbiting Threshold. He was later killed at the hands of ArbiterThel 'Vadamee at the mine, days before the Covenant Schism. Although Sesa's role in revealing the truth about The Great Journey was minor and almost inconsequential, his legacy would live on past his death. After the end of the Human-Covenant War, Sesa was regarded as a martyr among the Sangheili, and the members of the Refum family who were slaughtered by the Prophet of Truth's orders were absolved in their names.
