History

Scarlet Team was formed in 2540, with the creation of the Spartan II Class III program. Scarlet was noted very early on for being very specialized, with the children seperated into sects before training even began. In 2548, the Spartans of Scarlet were augumented, and they lost two of their number, Spartans 367 and 333. However, Scarlet remained strong, and graduated on time with the rest of the Spartans. After graduation, the all of the Spartans were given SPI Armor due to cost concerns. In 2552, after the battle of Troy II, Spartan 312 went rogue, and the two closest squads, Gold Team and Scarlet team were called in to eliminate him. However, despite being insane, 312 was clever and he lured Scarlet team out and killed them.

Arnold was born in 2534 to a family of scholars. His father, mother, and older sister where all teachers. When he was six years old, in 2540, Arnold was kidnapped by the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Section Three, and placed in the Spartan II Class III program. Arnold quickly found a love of heavy weapons, such as the M19 and M41 rocket launchers. Arnold was among the strongest of the Spartans from the third class, and on rare occasions he would heft pairs of rocket launchers in battle. Arnold was killed in 2552 by fellow third class Spartan SPARTAN-312, who had gone rogue.

Michael was the prime close quarters combat specialist of Scarlet team before his demise. When he was first put into the program, he found a love of shotguns and SMGs, and they are his primary weapons. Michael was well known for not being a highly good shot, which rumor has it is why he stuck to CQB action. In 2552, Michael and the rest of Scarlet were dispatched in tandem with Gold Team to hunt down SPARTAN-312), who had gone rogue. Michael was killed by a minefield 312 had set while scouting for 312.

Jennifer, also known as Jenny to her squadmates, was the leader of Scarlet team before her death in 2552. Jenny was highly skilled at medium ranged combat, and could keep her aim highly steady even while doing difficult manuvers. However, Jenny's main strength was in the area of tactics. Jenny was a highly skilled commander of her squad, and was highly capable of judging battlefield stress points and directing accordingly. Jenny was killed in 2552 when SPARTAN-312 ambushed her squadron.
