Description: A former subject of the ORION program, cured of a fatal brain disorder by receiving SPARTAN-II augmentations in 2525 and placed into ONI service under the designation "SPARTAN-116". Felix leads the Beta-5 Division's classified VELOX unit, which deals in many high-risk operations kept off ONI records. Although Felix is never entirely comfortable with his work, he has come to realize that humanity constantly walks a razor's edge in their fight against extinction.
Description: A member of the famous 105th Shock Troops, PFC Groves' skills as a sharpshooter are matched by his unceasing and often questionable readiness to abate any problem in front of his crosshairs, be it alien or human. A juvenile and a troubled youth, Groves accepted conscription as a means to stay out of prison and passed every initiation and test thrown at him by the ODSTs.
Description: A washed-out SPARTAN-II and protégé to the mysterious and ruthless Margaret Parangosky, Commander Serin Osman has been summoned to Alluvion for two reasons. The first is to "allow" the Covenant access to the oceans so that ONI can observe the motives to their underwater excavation and seize any potential assets they find. The other is to gather data on "The Destroyer", even though Beta-5's Jazmine Utah and the VELOX Unit have strict orders to neutralize him.

Jeran 'Demalee
Affiliation: Covenant, Special Operations
Description: The Special Operations Commander in the Fleet of Particular Justice. Jeran has noticed the unusual nature of his orders from Fleetmaster Thel 'Vadamee, to secure and safeguard Alluvion's oceans against not only humans but also Covenant units outside their own. Although his loyalties lie with Thel, he wonders why the High Prophets have relegated forces from the Fleet of Righteous Purpose to join them in their mission.
Tawri 'Antinree
Affiliation: Covenant, Special Operations
Description: An expert sniper of the Sangheili Special Operations branch.
Description: A trusted ally of Thel 'Vadamee and one of his best Field Marshalls. Veer seldom questions the Prophets, despite the controversial events at Metisette and Charybdis IX in 2535. However, he has noticed the rising tensions between the Council and the Covenant's celebrated Imperial Admiral, Xytan Jar 'Wattinree. Nonetheless, Veer follows Thel's orders even knowing his long-time rivalry with Xytan.
Affiliation: Covenant, Fleet of Particular Justice
Description: Thel was a formidable Zealot before he took on the responsibilities of Fleetmaster, and has been personally chosen by the High Prophets to seize Alluvion and find the truth behind Imperial Admiral 'Wattinree's secrecy. He is not pleased that his fleet now includes one of Xytan's Shipmasters, but heeds his orders and is determined to prove himself a worthy successor to the position of Imperial Admiral...no matter the cost.
Description: VELOX's dedicated scout and infiltration specialist. She's typically the Point Man for VELOX during operations, taking the front-most position in the unit's formations, though, rarely. Lian-017 lacks a firm opinion on her SPARTAN-II status, considering being a supersoldier her destiny and calling. Her personality has been described offhandedly as "friendly, playful, but addicted to work" - she's focused on her duties like a laser and never takes her eyes off the goal.

Eldar-128
Affiliation: UNSC, VELOX Unit
Description: VELOX's firearms specialist and combat medic. Soft-spoken and fairly serious. He consider being a SPARTAN-II a great opportunity for himself and gives him great pride though he shows it rarely. He spends a lot of time developing a mastery of his fields of specialty - firearms engineering and medicine which involves quite a bit of tinkering. He's been known to crack jokes at the worst times and to pop them out of the blue.
Description: Flag Officer for VELOX's ONI Command Unit. She often handles reports but has provided several mission briefings for VELOX and commanded them while they were in the field via relay. Utah was a Captain during the Alluvion Campaign. She's very ambitious, however, makes a sound field commander. VELOX was her first experience with Spartan supersoldiers.

Angelica Hurst
Affiliation: UNSC, UNSC Navy, Maritime Operations
Description: The leader of a maritime warship and a small flotilla deployed to Alluvion's oceans. Commander Hurst is one of the few standing UNSC forces left to secure the colony's coastal waters and provide artillery support for combat units inland. She has been doing her best to avoid confrontation with Covenant battlegroups as one close call would spell doom for her forces. She has taken note of Covenant's interests in the oceans of the colony world. As an officer, she has grown tired of war, however, she continues to fight because she and her crew must to survive.
Description: A decades-long veteran of the Covenant Army, Sev 'Wattinree is a skilled field commander and swordsman who has gained little recognition for his efforts. Unforgiving and verging on cruelty on occasion, he is still a deep believer of the Great Journey but is now growing tired in his righteous extermination of humanity. However, a hidden objective has forced him to take to the field one final time.

Description: Enlisting after being discharged from the police force, Dahm is a reluctant Marine who is characterised by his Australian accent and strong stance on justice and morality. While still considered a rookie, Dahm's civilian mindset and vow to never take another human's life means that he is often ridiculed by older career servicemen.

Maddison-140
Affiliation: UNSC, VELOX Unit
Description: The heavy weapons and demolitions expert for VELOX, Maddison is one of the team's livelier members, showing a love for all-out brawls and enjoys stacking the odds against herself. Known for her minor temper, she is usually VELOX's first choice at pulling pressure off discovered teammates or applying pressure on Covenant formations.
Description: The bond brothers Nogoda Yugo Husgoa and Oyiya Yugo Yopki are an unusual case of two Scarab gestalts sharing the strong emotional connection that is normally found in the smaller Mgalekgolo forms. Obedient towards their Legion's Field Master but dismissive towards all others, the two collectives have a talent for unparalleled destruction both alone and together.

Khal 'Devnumee
Affiliation: Covenant, detachment from the Fleet of Righteous Purpose
Description: The Shipmaster in command of the DDS-class carrier Cleansing Wave, the soft-spoken Khal 'Devnumee has achieved his position through a combination of hard-work and his former occupation as a Special Operations operative. Able to keep a secret, Khal's officially arrived to support Thel 'Vadamee's assault on Alluvion, but his caution hides another motive for his presence there.
Description: Graduating with distinction from the Academy at Mare Nubium, Lieutenant Daiichi Kimura served first on a military space station, then as commander of a patrol ship before transferring to a position more suited to his talents: as operations officer of the UNSC Renown under Captain Robert Edwards, part of the fleet commanded by legendary Admiral Jean Mawikizi. Though his awkward and rigid interpersonal nature puts off many who serve with him, he has displayed rare courage and integrity under pressure.
Description: Expert swordsman Spec Ops Infantry Elite serving under Jeran 'Demalee in the Fleet of Particular Justice. As an aristocrat, he brings his personal energy sword into combat, though he more commonly utilizes a plasma rifle for ranged conflict. However, when he must resort to bladework, 'Sasovai is quite deadly, despite his smaller stature compared to other Elites.
Description: A Sangheili who suffered from the deaths of his entire family due to the fights between various states on Qikost, Jez would avenge them by slaying the responsible honorifically, gaining a name across the planet, before leaving to join the Covenant. Since then, Jez, himself a talented warrior, had fought in many victorious battles of the Covenant, reaching the Zealot rank. He is deployed on Alluvion along with the Zealot force of Thel 'Vadam.
