IntroductionOh yes, I remember Ceres. It was a very fertile planet, filled with giant trees and large canyons spanned by awe-inspiring bridges. It seemed peaceful enough, save the fighting between us boys, the Covenant and the natives. But the real problems lay below, down on the planet's surface. There, it was always nighttime and the creatures that lurked in those depths sought to feast on the flesh of whatever wandered close enough. And it was there of course that we had to fight most of the battles... Far from the regular lines of battle lay a planet, forgotten by time. Filled with rampant growth of the flora, vast canyons and large expanses of nothing. Nowhere is safe on this planet, and its' situation will not improve. There is little sentient life, save a few Human and Covenant outposts and the tree-top towns of the native creatures. Soon this will change though. Creatures will arise from the depths. Some of which have never been seen before.... The Last Battle of Ceres? Oh I don't even like to think about that. It was one of the worst battles I ever went through. No one knew what happened until it hit us. We thought nothing could stop them.... The planet's relative peace will turn to chaos. A Forerunner installation guards two secrets never meant to be found. The giant flora and huge mountains was meant to cover up these secrets. But soon, they will be unleashed. And unless the installation is allowed to do its' duty, nothing will stop them.... Background InformationShortly after the Battle of the Satellite, the UNSC Endeavor was sent to the coordinates of signal that was sent from the station. They came out of slipspace in orbit of the extraordinarily fertile planet of Ceres. They set up base and planned to claim the planet for the UNSC. Covenant soon arrived though and tried to claim it for themselves, and the native species, the Bujkowe, fought both forces with extreme ferocity. Nearly a year after the fighting had begun though, something happened. All that the humans managed to get out was an extremely garbled message. It was as follows: Mayday, Mayday. This is Ceres base. We need immediate assistance from any UNSC or allied Covenant forces. I repeat we need immediate assistance fromany UNSC or allied Covenant forces. The base is under attack by these strange...things! They are not Covenant, Bujkowe or wildlife, they're like nothing I've ever seen. We will attempt to hold off the creatures as long as we can. Hurry before... aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!! Archived Chapters
Roleplaying101The horde of Hydra controlled robots flew back to Blackheart, Cognitive Tactics in their custody. They handed him over to Blackheart, who absorbed him into his being and gained all of his stored information and, what he had really been after from the Monitor, access to the teleportation grid. Ameigh Broley and her troops landed on the planet and moved out to destroy the Flood and Hydra, as well as save their Human allies. But as she moved to lead her troops, she heard a new noise from the sky. She looked up, she saw an enormous Forerunner city enter the system and begin to fire on everything in sight. Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 15:43, 17 October 2007 (UTC) 102Lewis awoke out of his coma. In front of him was this creature... a very large plant he thought it was. He looked to his left. Holstrom was out still. Then, the creature spoke to him. It said: "I am death, I am the darkness. I have stayed here for millinea, carrying out a sentence that was wrongfully put on me. Do you think activating this ring will kill me!? It is just a mere passage of time." Then Lewis took out the only thing that had some affect on the flood. An incendiary greande. He lit it up and he threw it into the creatures mouth. Him and Holstrom fell until a sentinel caught them. AJ 14:00, 18 October 2007 (UTC) 103Dean got up to his feet. The situation looked bad. More of the pods dropped all over the forest. That meant the First and Second Teams wouldn't have a chance. He picked up a Spartan Laser and strapped it to his back. Then he picked up two SMGs and a Shotgun. He decided to use the Shotgun first, so he hooked the SMGs on his belt. Then he took off into the forest. Almost immediately a swarm of Combat Forms attacked. He saw they were the Human type of Combat Forms, and figured out that they were from First and Second Team. He repeatedly fired his Shotgun. Many flood fell, but there just came more to take the fallen's place. Just when he thought it was hopeless, three Scorpion Tanks came out of the forest and opened fire on the flood. It was Marines inside. Quickly, Dean jumped onto one. Then Pelicans came and hailed the enemy from the sky, soon clearing them out. "Hello, Master Gunnery Sergeant, thought you needed some help." It was Captain Crow. "Thank you sir, but we've still got many problems. That city, it came from nowhere, and now its unleashing a devastating force." "Yes I know, Sergeant. I'm planning to strike the thing with the ships I have, and I hope that other ships will help. But I've got a problem that I want you to deal with first. The city has several cannon towers that are holding away the ships. I want you to disable some of them, so we can blow that thing up!" "I'll start immediately, Captain!" Matt-256 17:00 (Scandinavian Time), 18 October 2007 (UTC) 104"This is Fleet Admiral Jim Wilson. All forces, redirect fire onto the large Forerunner city. Engage it with full firepower." Ameigh and her forces moved quickly over the barren landscape. The impact of the NOVA had turned nearly a third of the planet into a desert, making movement easy but hiding impossible. They attempted to go as quickly as possible and if the Flood or Hydra were foolish enough to attack, they killed them quickly. "This is Caleb of Team Beta", said Caleb, "You think you boys can handle things up here? We need to take out that Hydra commander form, wherever it's lurking down there" Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 17:10, 18 October 2007 (UTC) 105The UNSC Pillar of Winter exited slipspace and quickly entered orbit. Captain Jacobs ordered the Com officer to open a channel to all surviving UNSC and Covenant ships in the area. "This is the UNSC Pillar of Winter to all allied ships, we have arrived and shall deploy our forces on the surface." Masterchief46517 com link 19:57, 18 October 2007 (UTC) 106"Captain Jacobs, this is Fleet Admiral Jim Wilson. Deploy your troops and then turn your attention to that giant city-thing. Those are your orders" "Foolish Humans", said Blackheart, "They left behind they're ship, and now it shall be mine" Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 20:18, 18 October 2007 (UTC) 107As the com snapped off, the bridge officers carefully calculated an entry vector towards any surviving UNSC and Covenant ground forces in the area. As Captain Jacobs studied the displays front of him, he ordered the pilots to bring the Winter in low enough to deploy the 421st Fighter Squadron to cover the ground forces. Down in the hanger the pilots of the 421st were busing preparing their Longswords and fighters for immediate deployment. After the Winter's fighters were clear, Captain Jacobs ordered the ship be brought back into orbit and the shields to be engaged. Then he ordered the Pulse Laser turrets to be warmed up for immediate action. Masterchief46517 com link 02:30, 19 October 2007 (UTC) 108The Pelicans closed in on the target. Dean, together with 12 other Marines, had to disable as many cannon towers as possible, in order to help in the coming assault from the starships. The Pelicans landed near the edge of the city, for now free from flood. Two Moongooses, two Warthogs and one Scorpion Tank were dropped off together with the Marines. Dean took the driving seat in the Scorpion, while another Marine manned the Machine Gun. The other Marines took the other vehicles. Then they drived forward. Some hundred meters into the city, the Flood attacked. But they were dealt with quickly thanks to the Scorpion Tank. After another three hundred meters, they arrived at the first cannon tower. Dean and two other Marines went in through the door. According to the scannings of the area, all they had to do to disable these things was to fire with a Spartan Laser right into the Energy Beam being generated in the middle of the tower. They met some flood hostiles, but very few, and it didn't take long until they were in the center. Dean switched to the Spartan Laser he'd been carrying since the drop. He pointed on the energy beam, and charged his laser. After a few seconds it fired, and hit the beam. The Beam blurred for some seconds, and then faded away. First tower disabled. Dean and the Marines went out to the vehicles, took their seats, and headed away for the next one. Suddenly Dean saw that another one of the towers were shut down. Was someone else given this task as well? Rthao 'Haerum returned to his Scarab. The Cannon tower was disabled. Now he had to go for another one. He went to the command section of the Scarab. He ordered it forward. There was still much to do. Matt-256 com link 17:46 (Scandinavian Time), 19 October 2007 (UTC) 109As the humans were nearing the second tower and noticed its destruction, a large vine from Ancientmind came from the ceiling and smashed into the floor removing all space between them, the tower, and the exit. Flood began pouring out of crevices and the massive hole. Thousands of them. And they all stared for a moment, then began attacking. --Kebath 'Holoree 18:39, 19 October 2007 (UTC) 110The humans stared at the hordes of Flood, wondering how they'd get out of this one. But just then, Dragon Squadron flew overhead. Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 19:03, 19 October 2007 (UTC) 111Lewis and Holstrom awoke. A 12 feet tall creature with grey skin stood in front of them. Then, the creature spoke. It said: "Reclaimers, I am the Librarian of Ceres. I am the last of the forerunner." Lewis and Holstrom looked at each other in amazement. AJ 20:12, 19 October 2007 (UTC) 112Dean smiled while he drove the Scorpion. He was glad to have that Squadron in the air. He would've been dead if it weren't for them, and Dean was the one who remembered to pay back to those who helped him. He headed for the next tower. After a while of small engagements with flood groups, he arrived at the third tower. This time the Flood seemed to be prepared, as it was around a hundred of the things around the tower. Dean hit the breaks. He pointed the cannon on the horde, and said: "Get outta' my way!" Matt-256 22:50 (Scandinavian Time), 19 October 2007 (UTC) 113A large screech echoed throughout the city. In a massive rumble and shaking of the area, six large vines from Ancientmind soared through the floor and wrapped around the tower protecting it from damage. "You are going to fail pitiful humans." Ancient mind said. Another vine came from the ground and wrapped around a scorpion tank and flung it across the room. Kebath 'Holoree 21:02, 19 October 2007 (UTC) 114"I must inform the Librarian", said Archaic Chivalry, "He should know what to do" The UNSC and Covenant forces continued to try and get back to their ships. But, the ships weren't at the edge of the crater as they had thought, but rather a dozen more miles through the jungles. Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 23:20, 19 October 2007 (UTC) 115Dean woke up. It seemed that he had been passed out for a while. He felt that his left shoulder hurt. He had appeared in corridor, apparently under the room he'd been in during the attack on the third tower. Those stupid vines seemed to always come at bad times. He walked through the corridor, after picking up his Shotgun and Spartan Laser. The corridor never turned, but continued straight forward. He heard the crawling sound of Infection Forms all the time, but they never arrived. After some time of walking, he saw through a hole that it was an elevator on the other side. He brandished his Combat Knife and cut through the slime wall. He went to the elevator and started it. It went upwards. After some minutes, it arrived at its final destination. After going through a door, Dean found out that he was in the third Cannon Tower. He killed the two Flood guards, and then pointed his laser on the beam. He fired, and the beam faded out. He ran out through the gate of the tower. "Sir, third tower is disabled," Dean said through the COM link to Captain Crow. "Good work Master Guns'. Try to...WHAT! Sergeant, take cover immediately, repeat, immediately! A Scarab is heading for your position, and it's commanded by Flood." "Copy that." Dean took cover behind the destroyed Warthog, where he found two of his Marines. "Marines, what's your status?" "Sir, after you were thrown away by that vine, the flood charged. They overwhelmed us by their sheer number. We was able to survive however." "Good. What's your weapon status?" "I've got a Rocket Launcher, and Bill here got an Battle Rifle!" "Bill, take my laser, try to point on the Scarab's limbs so I can jump onboard, okay?" "Sir, yes sir," the both Marines said in response. The Scarab closed in on their position. When it was only a few meters away from their hideout, the Marines opened fire. The Rocket and laser both did perfect hits, destroying the limbs of the front legs. Dean took this chance to jump onboard the Scarab. He moved to the core, threw two frag grenades, and then he jumped off. The Scarab's explosion filled the air with blue. "Good work Master guns', wait there for extraction." Dean waited, but suddenly a vine came up from the ground and grabbed his leg. It drew him down a large hole. What did these vines want with him? Matt-256 09:14, 20 October 2007 (UTC) 116The Librarian of Ceres was the last forerunner alive. He had been in cryo since the halo's activation until the Monitor of Ceres got him out and told him what happened. He spent his time out of cryo in mourning for all who died with the halo's activation. He told Lewis and Holstrom about the flood, and what Ceres truly was. Ceres was actually a Precursor construct. After the Precursors were driven out by the forerunner, the forerunner repurposed Ceres and made it a bomb shelter and an activation center. Lewis and Holstrom asked the forerunner how to get to the key without having the flood attack them. He said: "Take the path that seems the hardest." Sgt.johnson 19:10, 20 October 2007 (UTC) 117"Dragon Squadron, report in", said Andrew. Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 15:22, 22 October 2007 (UTC) 118They have engaged the target for hours. It seems widely unsuccessful, even with Spartans coordinating the entire effort. Flood forms pile around the opening where they spawn. Lambda Squad is no where closer to blocking off the hole than when they first fired, all guns blazing. "We're running out of ammo. We should retreat for now!" suggests Hattie. Lambda Leader is aware of the situation. If the Spartans retreat, their brief campaign would be highly unsuccessful, along with dealing with lost reputation and trust. "Pull back. This is too much for the four of us. Erebus, tight beam a transmission to report the status of the skirmish." "Leader, something is preventing me from starting a communication link. Technology unknown. This would be the first time where my expertise has been bested," the AI said with regret. "Try to locate the jammer, we'll have to deal with it soon," replied Lambda Leader as the two warthogs were revved, taking Lambda Squad away from the mess of Flood. --Dubtiger 13:40, 23 October 2007 (UTC) 119They ran at thier top speed. Hundreds of flood, just raining down on them. Lewis was holding the key in his hand, and Holstrom was running at top speed. They had to put the key into the control room. Without it, there was no way for the UNSC to win. The Precursors were currently winning on space... but on the ground... it was an entirely different story. Lewis had no idea how to escape. His home ship... destroyed in the Precursor onslaught. Him and Holstrom had left the Librarian of Ceres behind. He activated some... "solution" to keep the flood from overtaking Lewis and Holstrom. They made it to the Longsword and hit pushed the throttle to full power. Sgt.Johnson 120Archaic Chivalry looked as the two Reclaimers ran off to try and activate the Ceres Installation. Nogard slaughtered countless more of the Precursors and their robots. He continued his unstoppable rampage through the ship, eventually closing in on the bridge. Blackheart teleported onto one of the crashed Precursor ships and set his Hydra controlled Constructors to work fixing it. As soon as they were finished on this ship and several others, he would set out for the skies. And from there, he would take the galaxy..... Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 18:34, 31 October 2007 (UTC) 121The Reclaimers flew to the control room. It was strange, as on a mainly tropical planet, the control room was located in a snowy environment. After they parked thier longsword at the foot of the control room, thousands of flood dispersal pods fell around them. The flood spoke. Lewis and Holstrom grabbed BR-55HB SR rifles and M7 SMG's. They weren't about to go down without a fight. {{Subst:User:Sgt.johnson/Sig}} 21:14, 31 October 2007 (UTC) 122"Dragons, take down those towers!", ordered Admiral Wilson Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 17:33, 1 November 2007 (UTC) 123AJ fired until his BR-55 clip was out. Then, over head, thousands upon thousands of sentinel enforcers fired upon the flood. The flood were decimated. Lewis and Holstrom ran to the control room where they inserted the key. They looked up at the blue light emitted from the abyss that the control room surrounded. They ran for thier lives to get away from Ceres. {{Subst:User:Sgt.johnson/Sig}} 21:17, 1 November 2007 (UTC) 124ATHENIAN-000 wandered into the control as the humans inserted the key and then he watched them run. Ponting his finger at the key a bolt of fire sped straight towards the key knocking it out and almost to the edge of the platform. "That was close," he said as the blue light faded and eventually dissapeared. Now to find those elites and humans, he thoguht walking out of the complex. He grabed his mongoose and turned it on. With a slight roar of the engine he was off, soon he would find them and take them out, sperate them and pick them off one by one. He saw one of his mercenaries and stopped by him letting him get on, luckly the mercenary had a sniper and they both began to look for Team Alpha and The Squad of something or another. After about 20 minutes of driving ATHENIAN-000 began to get tired of the constent vibrating of the Mongoose. Finnaly the mercenary spotted them, "600 meters north, i see them," ATHENIAN turned and began to speed towards the group of SPARTANs and Covenant. ATHENIAN stopped the Mongoose and let the mercenary get out. "Start to shoot at the hunters get them mad so they try to find what is shooting at them then try to pick off the drone and then attack the rest of the group snipers are a priorty," said ATHENIAN to the mercenary, he nodded and ATENIAN drove off and pulling a katana off his back drove full speed at the strange group of soldiers. Darmind stred from the tower he had claimed, the foolish humans once they had deactivated the twoers and killed most of the flood he would move this tower awith his hive and leave the Doomind to his own devices. Soon everything will fall right into place. He watched a couple of human fighters trying to fight off the flood controlled Forerunner fighters. He lifted the shotgun off the wall and turned, to see several marines walk in. He and his Darkness flood all jumped straight at the marines, letting his shotgun fire blowing one of the marines sides straight out. turning and pumping his shotgun at the same time, something his own combat forms couldn't do, i.e multi task. Seeing the mairne with a Spartan Laser he quickly ran over hitting him over the head with the shotugn and shoving it into his stomach, firing putting in tens of pellets into his stomach and blowing out his entire stomach. Taking a grenade he threw it and stuck one of the marines who ran and hugged one of his combat forms, Big mistake. The combat form grabed him with two of it's four heads and threw him across the room, he exploded half way and the charred remains of his body hit the ground. Darkmind pumped his shotgun as the last of the marines was killed by a soldiers form wielding a MA5C. Soon very soon thought the Darkmind letting contagion forms spread on the dead bodies. It all they had lost only two combat forms. Darkmind picked up the Spartan Laser, and this would help. --Spartan-064,≈≈Ω≈≈Demakhis Reporting • Contributions 22:47, 1 November 2007 (UTC) 125Lewis heard a rumble. And then silence. Ceres, almost simultaneously, erupted as the interlaced Geometry of Precursor Machines was shown. It was a fortress world, built by the Precursors, and captured by the Foreunners. It was over. The Battle of Ceres had been concluded. With a bang. +1 Second {{Subst:User:Sgt.johnson/Sig}} 02:56, 3 November 2007 (UTC) Aftermath143 (Lordofmonsterisland)The combined forces of UNSC and Covenant Seperatist fleets exited slipspace. They had barely managed to get out of the system in time, but they had made it, leaving behind a ghost system. Ceres' superweapon had destroyed all life left in the system, and destroyed the planet itself, leaving it as asteroids floating in space. They were married onboard the Thermopylae, just like both of their parents had been. The wedding was grand, with most of the UNSC and Covenant forces attending. In the asteroid remains of Ceres, Archaic Chivalry and a small group of Sentinels flew off, heading for the nearest Forerunner installation. And dragged with them, kept in a shut-down mode, was Discodant Fervor. A hodge-podge group of ships traveled through slipspace, heading for any destination, so long as there was life for the taking. Inside the largest one, a large blue mass controlled all the other life in the small fleet. The Hydra had survived to fight another day. Nogard flew through the depths of space. He had killed thousands of Precursors, including their commander, yet something was not right. He now had no lust for vengeance. In its place, there now burned a blazing passion for supreme control. Where it had come from, he knew not, but he had to have it. So he set out on a quest to find the technology he would need..... The UNSC and Covenant fleets dispersed to various parts of the galaxy. The Squad of Unrelenting Reparation said their goodbyes, sad to have to leave such admirable comrades. But they would meet again, and they all knew it. Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 15:55, 3 November 2007 (UTC) 144 (Sgt. Johnson)Lewis and Holstrom looked at Earth, Humanity's homeworld out the bridge of the UNSC Pillar of Winter. They were glad to be back home. Lewis had to spend a month in an UNSC hospital for radiation exposure, and some minor injuries stemming from tree branches, and the crash landing of his longsword. He married an ONI Officer and she retired from active service with the UNSC. Lewis was later reassigned to the UNSC Training Corps and the 23rd Naval Squadron was disbanded. Lewis recieved the Red Legion of Honor for The Battle of Ceres, Two Medals of Honor, both for trying to activate Ceres, and the Silver Star for Meritorious Service on Ceres. He now (2557) on Mars, training new pilots. Him and his wife later had a son, who wanted to be a pilot just as much as his father. Holstrom was met with scruitiny by the UNSC High Command. The incident was later cleared up as an over zealous Naval Officer didn't hear the warning from the 225th Naval Squadron. That Officer was later dishonorably discharched and demoted to the rank of Seaman. Holstrom was promoted to Rear Admiral (Lower Half) and he married the owner of a local business on Earth. The 225th Naval Squadron was officialy disbanded and cleared of all charges by the United Earth Government. Lewis wrote letters to the families of Major Gregg Woods, Colonel Anthony Carr, Admiral Robert Valentino, and the families of all who died in the 23rd Naval squadron. He went to the memorial service while he was in the hospital for all who died in the Battle of Ceres. Holstorm wrote letters to the families of all the Vulture Pilots, detailing why they had no choice but to go AWOL and how they were pardoned. Holstorm looked out the window from his office in Sydney, Australia. Earth was safe, and it was time to move on and rebuild the UNSC's fleet. All records of Ceres were deleted from the UNSC's system. The coordinates, the battle, all were deemed classified. There was a private Memorial Service for all who died, held in Australia. The survivors of the battle fought, and won to have the Battle of Ceres put back into the system for all to learn about it. They won that right in 2558 after two years of appeals and court hearings. But, as a reminder, at the beginning of all documents pertaining to Ceres, it said: " It should have been left well enough alone, but... " PLNB Priority Transmission XX892-XX The debriefing of Commander Lewis has spread light on these new creatures. The Hydra are classified as a Class-5 Enemy, the same as the flood for thier leathality. The Precursors cannot be classified due to the extreme technological nature of thier equipment. As per UNSC HIGHCOM, all documents pertaining to Ceres are to be classified ABOVE TOP SECRET and/or destroyed. Disband the 23rd Naval Squadron and the 225th Naval Squadron immediately following debriefing. Commander Lewis has been reassigned to Training Command and Captain Holstrom has been re-assigned to UNSC FLEETCOM following a 6 Month long vacation. Recommend ONI watch over Lewis and Holstrom. /end file/ Press ENTER to continue.
{{Subst:User:Sgt.johnson/Sig}} 15:15, 3 November 2007 (UTC) 145 (Spartan G-23)PLNB Priority Transmission XX087R-XX As evident of the footage from SPARTAN-G023's HUD camera, we can notice some distinct enemies. First I would like to point out, the Hydra. This organism is extremly powerful and can be seen wiping out our forces with relative ease. In case of future combat, orbital bombardment recommended. Next as I would like to point out, are the Precursors. They seem to be far more advanced and powerful than the forerunners, who were the ones that created much of the technology that the covenant copies. It seems as though these enemies both pose a significant threat to the UNSC. it is recommended that all history of Ceres, and the battle that took place around it, be purged from the public database and make sure that only high-ranking Intelligence officers can access it. If anyone knew of what went on, it may be a serious blow to morale, if or when these enemies are encountered again. /end file/ Press ENTER to continue. James took one last look at the monument erected to commemorate those lost in the battle. Yet another thing on my CSV that nobody should ever experience again. He thought. He gave one last salute before leaving, and a small grenade was left nearby the graves as a his testament to all those lost. Although against his beliefs, he gave a small prayer to them, hoping that they might find happiness in another lifetime. When Admiral Chow returned back to Earth, he was given a massive welcome, and stemming from that, an invitation to join the UNSC Secuirity Council. Something that he always wanted to do. Vice Admiral William Falconi would the active head of the fleet until Admiral Chpw decided to return to active duty. "Well Delta, now I've seen it all. Advanced aliens, new flood, I've probably seen more in my lifetime than most people have in one hundred years." He said to the AI. "Pardon me sir, but what should I do with these files?" Asked the AI. "Hide them, better leave the on their own, and may future generations never again hear of what happened there. Everything will be fine is we can just leave that kind of stuff well enough alone....." --Petty Officer 1st Class SPARTAN-G023 Comm Channel Mission History 17:50, 3 November 2007 (UTC) 146(Matt-256)Dean looked at the confused Marines. He couldn't say that he blamed them. He was just as confused as they were. When Dean returned to Earth, he was awarded with the last medals the UNSC could give him, he had already received all others. For some time, he was a training instructor for Marine recruits, and also spent some time with other Spartan-Is during his freetime. Unknown to Darkmind someone had boarded his city and was intent on destorying him. On the city sat Omega Stleath squad waiting for their opportunity to destory the city with the nuke they had smuggled on. ATHENIAN-000 looked from his cabin on the Ocean's Pride, What a wonderfuul day to be free, he thought to himself pulling out the magnum sidearm he kept after he had escaped from Team Alpha and SpecOps Team Alpha. He looked at the pistol and took out the small device inside the ammo clip. It was a vile of the SPARTANs blood which he had stolen the pistol from. He took it and put it with the others in his cupboard. he had one for every SPARTANs he had incountered except for Team Alpha, they would be his next targets. He conjured a small flame and began to heat up some clothes that he would then put on his back. He was getting tired and his back was sore, he needed to see the ships doctor. The chemicals that let him have his powers, might be toxic and might be actually killing him. No time to think about that, he thought putting the hot towels on his back. "Hot then cold, hot then cold," he said to himself lying down and falling asleep as the cryo closed around him. --Spartan-064,≈≈Ω≈≈Demakhis Reporting • Contributions 18:48, 3 November 2007 (UTC) 148 (Dubtiger)"That was close..." muttered Lambda Leader. His visuals continuously fog and clear up as his anti-fog devices embedded in his visor kick in. The foursome fled the site as they run dangerously low on ammunition, then they receive word that the system is set for destruction, causing the Leader to sweat. 12 hours to get out of there, with no method of doing so. After driving through the terrain, they came across an abandoned hangar, coincidentally holding four banshees with full fuel capacity. They ditched their warthogs and took the ships for a spin, and manages to get to the closest UNSC camp with 2 hours to spare. They boarded the last pelican at the camp, and made for the UNSC Spitfire. The ship entered slipspace soon after they board. The whole scenario caused the squad leader to get nervous - they were within an hour of 100% mortality rate destruction, without any means of decreasing that percentage. "Another long day," sighs the leader of Lambda Squad. As with all other information, Lambda Squad's participation was deemed classified. The number of Flood they have eliminated in the hours of firefight were estimated to be 100,000, making them heroes, of sorts, for the protection of the UNSC from a bitter enemy. They are well enough alone. --Dubtiger 20:36, 3 November 2007 (UTC) |
