Born on the backwater world of Bludfels, Miranda Elizabeth Talavera Santiago was raised in a small, rundown colony where the UNSC was a distant, tyrannical overlord. Joining up with the first spacer grew she could to get off world, Miranda ended up falling into several different rebel factions to fight for her freedoms, eventually becoming wrapped up in Project PERSIAN. Augmented and retrained, she became a powerful, Spartan-like soldier, clashing with UNSC special forces several times till a final duel with Riker-012 left her wounded and without a cause. Managing to slip off to Fell Justice, she became a well known mercenary under Extra Outcomes, till at last she declined to complete a contract involving Riker and became a fugitive among her mercenary brethren. For several years, Miranda kept her head low and never stopped moving, until she at last found herself in the company of Riker once again as part of his small team of soldiers amidst the Created Crisis.
