Fox Team

Fox Team, more formally styled as FOX Team and sometimes referred to simply as FOX, was a 4-man team from the Spartan III program's Alpha Company team attached to Commando Group Alpha, with its members being dubbed as Category-II's, informally known as 'Cat-II's'. Fox team was considered the third-best Commando team of Alpha company, falling behind Carter-A259's Panther Team who served as Commando Group Alpha's commander and narrowly been beaten by Jake-A384's Grizzly Team, who became Carters XO.

Like all Alpha Company Commando Teams, Fox Team had initially been a 3-man Team but was restructured to a 4-man team prior to their augmentations. This was due to their different mission profile, which was judged to require larger teams than the rest of the company, with additional soldiers being drawn from the failed Headhunter candidates.

Fox Team would serve in countless battles between the activation of Alpha Company in 2536 as a part of Commando Group Alpha, and continued long after the destruction of the main force of Alpha Company in 2537. Fox Team was eventually disbanded after the Battle of Saint-Denis in 2547. After which the remnants of Commando Group Alpha were merged with the remaining teams of Beta Companies, Commando Group Beta, forming Special Warfare Group Three. Resulting in the members of Fox Team being split up to serve in new, cross-company teams with their Beta company counterparts.

Echo Team

Echo Team, more formally styled as ECHO Team and sometimes referred to simply as ECHO, was a 5-man team from the Spartan III program, being attached to the UNSC's Special Warfare Group Three, with its members being dubbed as Category-II's, informally known as 'Cat-II's'.

Echo Team would serve in countless battles between 2547 until the Battle of Reach when the majority of the unit was cornered at Rally Point Omega, and along with Gauntlet Team, Red Team and Noble Six, was annihilated to a Spartan. The only survivor of Gauntlet Team would be Quinn-A098, who had become detached from her team, due to the orders of Kaitlyn-B237 forcing her, along with Faith-A199 to take a longer route to Rally Point Omega, thereby saving her from the encirclement that led to the destruction of her team. Unfortunately during the final evacuation, Quinn was hit by a plasma blast from a Grunts Fuel Rod Cannon, severing both her legs at the knees, damaging her spine and causing her visor to implode, temporarily blinding her.

After the Battle, Quinn would be placed in emergency cryo aboard a UNSC Frigate and was later discharged from active service due to the severity of her wounds.

Gauntlet Team would serve in countless battles between 2547 until the Battle of Reach when the majority of the unit was cornered at Rally Point Omega, and along with Echo Team, Red Team and Noble Six, was annihilated to a Spartan. The only survivor of Gauntlet Team would be Faith, who had become detached from her team, due to the orders of Kaitlyn-B237 forcing her, along with Echo Four, Quinn-A098, to take a longer route to Rally Point Omega, thereby saving her from the encirclement that led to the destruction of her team.

After the Battle, Faith would suffer from survivors guilt and declared she would never lead another team and attempted suicide. Fortunately, she was stopped by Jake-A384, who along with the other surviving Spartan's, including Joseph-122 was supported through her period of strife and was reassigned into Jake-A384's Brimstone Team, as Brimstone Three.
