MediFoam was a type of medical healing product marketed by The Optican Corporation. Developed for purely military purpose as the successor to Biofoam, its painless application (application of Biofoam was known to be disturbingly painful) and fast-acting capabilities brought it into the civilian market in 2620, sixteen years after its introduction.

MediFoam operates in a method extremely similar to Biofoam; using a disposable applicator, a corpsman, field medic, or civilian medic would apply the MediFoam to an internal wound via an external laceration. The foam would then expand, thus filling the wound and preventing external bleeding, though the application is only a temporary fix; unlike Biofoam, MediFoam is, in most cases, nearly painless to the patient. This created a much larger acceptance rate by military personnel.
