Captain Marco Bartek Dorota (Service Number: 23664-60758-MD) was a Naval Officer in the UNSC Prowler Corps, manning many different ships, and eventually Commanding the UNSC Boudica . While Commanding the Boudica, Dorota would be integral in the outcome of the Battle of Mendel, and Operation: SWEEP in 2546.
Dorota was a hard-headed, and observant Officer who was driven to service after the bombing of a UNSC Barracks on Reach, which killed 93 Marines, and the fear for potential for Nuclear attacks on his home planet of Earth, much like the one committed on the Haven Arcology. Dorota found himself filled with anger and frustration with his perceived enemy and as a young man became an outspoken supporter of the UEG and UNSC. Dorota was accepted as a Cadet to the Naval Academy at Mare Nubium in 2525, and graduated in 2530, and was a Weapons Officer on the UNSC Night's Edge, working his way up to XO of the UNSC Boudica in 2544.
Dorota is also the XO of Diamond Team, and works closely with LT. Annalee-B220, the ground commander of the Special Operations team whose focus was the tracking and recovery of Xeno-Technology that could change the course of the Human-Covenant War.
