I joined this site back in April 2012 as B1blancer2 after being caught up in a Halo writing fever, and remembering seeing this site years before. When I first joined, my writing was, to put it mildly, less than stellar (which those who were around at the time can attest to), and my relationship with the community even worse due to various causes, mainly my uncivil attitude and continually non-canon or unrealistic fanfiction, which earned me a string of bans, my final one being when I changed my username in an attempt to distance myself from my previous works. |

With the rebels getting very little focus in the Halo lore, I find it allows me a great deal of freedom, and an opportunity to show what else may have been going on during the Human-Covenant War between humans. In the history books, despite their experiences, they remained as how they were when they left their home. In reality, the interpretations of those individuals is tampered and manipulated, stretched to fill that void. As a result, it became a rarity in Sangheili society that few, if any, had any physical and mental disorders from their service. That one would emerge as a veteran of the war which shattered the Covenant was unheard of.
