The Macuahuitl-class was a family of capital ships, specifically large cruisers, that served the United Nations Space Command Navy. They were specially designed to better fulfill the command ship role, particularly at the fleet level. Twenty-one ships of the line were built during a fourteen year span; two more were planned, but construction on them was cancelled in lieu of smaller, more versatile warships.
