"Who was the stupid Sierra Oscar Bravo who stuck a warship gun on a tank?!"
―Anonymous Marine

The M811A2 Monitor AVP was a tank built on a new chassis to feature a 90mm Anti Tank gun.

The vehicle itself is longer and wider than the Scorpion chassis, although it is marginally lower than it. The main chassis is a boxy structure organised into a trapezoid shape, with a front sloped plate, sporting the turret mounted 90mm Gauss gun. The turret also mounts a 20mm remote operated turret, providing anti infantry defence and a remote operated .50 cal defence machine gun on the rear to aid in while on the defence defensive or when retreating.

This combination result in an excellent tank hunting vehicle. In addition to its low profile, it features Hydraulic suspension allowing it to raise the tracks to change its elevation. This makes it perfect for ambushes or launching first strikes on tanks within dense environments. With the abilities to effective hide behind hills, in ditches, in forests and in towns, its adaptability is fathomless. Its only problem is, while facing targets on their flanks, faster vehicles can outrun its turning speed, or the time it takes to move the gun.

The vehicle uses two primary engines, a diesel cruising engine for low-mid speed cruises and a gas turbine 'dash' engine for escape and advances.

UNSC remarks

"The A2 model is a ambusher's best friend. When the engine is on standby, it's near silent, but then it can spring into action on a moments notice. Means they could pass three meters from you and not know you're there."

"The frictionless materials coating the barrel interior are a god-send but it still gets damn hot in the tank."

"The Gauss guns are deadly accurate over extreme distances. When you check out its stats on the net, there is no max distance; we haven't figured it out yet."
