The M6K is a semi-automatic pistol of the M6 series that is manufactured by Misriah Armory. Just over six inches in length, the M6K is designed for concealed carry and is marketed specifically towards UEG law enforcement agencies and the UNSC's Office of Naval Intelligence.

Design details

Like the other M6 series pistols, the M6K is short recoil operated, using the recoil of the previous shot to eject the spent case while loading the next round into the chamber. M6K magazines hold up to six rounds; if including the potential additional round in the chamber, the M6K, when fully loaded, carries seven rounds. Designed for concealed carry, the M6K possesses a DA/SA trigger, which requires more effort to pull on the first shot and less for followup shots; this is to mitigate accidental discharges when being drawn from concealment.

Ammunition

The M6K is chambered in the 9×32mm cartridge, which is substantially smaller than the 12.7×40mm and 11.5×34mm cartridges used by larger pistols of the M6 series. While the 9×32mm cannot penetrate body armor, as a magnum cartridge, it is still very effective against unarmored targets.

Trivia

  • The artwork from which the M6K is derived is by Leo Fox.
  • The dimensions of the 9×32mm cartridge is based off those of the .357 Magnum cartridge. The difference between 9×32mm and .357 Magnum is that the case of the former is 1 mm shorter and is rimless, while the .357 Magnum, designed for revolvers, is rimmed.
