The M19 Modular Pistol is a sidearm used by the UNSC. A smaller alternative to the large M6L, it uses 10mm Auto. Possessing excellent stopping power against unarmoured targets, it is most commonly used for troops handling rear line duties that do not involve high-intensity conflict. It is often seen in the hands of Military Police, Colonial Security Forces, occupation units, and other deployments, as well as secondary weapons for crew.

The weapon has a modular design that can be altered to change the intended roll, with a core trigger system, firing system, and chamber, which can then be augmented with new slides, frames, barrels, recoil springs, and hammers. The UNSC issued slides are a reinforced polymer, with front and rear iron sights, a cut out to fit a rear sight, and mounting to fit a front sight. The lower polymer frame has the pistol controls on, with ambidextrous hold open, safety, and magazine release, and has an accessory rail. The standard model features a threaded barrel. The pistol is designed for reliability, and is generally easy to handle, thanks to it's user friendly construction.
Variants[]
The pistol has four accepted patterns, though after market components may effect it going forward.
M19 as standard has the short frame, and the standard slide, and is the most common variant, being utilised as a primary weapon for security units, or crew.
The M19B used the short frame, and the short slide, to make a carry weapon better suited to a side arm roll, giving a backup weapon for security units and colonial forces.
The M19C has the compact frame and short slide. This is used as a concealed weapon, being small enough to hide under clothing and in pockets.
The M19D has the long barrel and short frame, but this is largely used for military shooting competitions.
The last model is the M19E, Is a select fire pattern, with a fire select for options for automatic, burst, and semi-automatic. It has a modified standard frame, and short frame.
