The Kiwi-class was a "wet" UNSC Navy Patrol Boat, with a top speed of 54 knots. It was designed and manufactured by Dark Space Shipyards.

History

The Kiwi was a class of Patrol Boats, mass produced at the end of the Human-Covenant war to help boost the ruined economy, and to help defend UNSC shore-based installations maintain security from Insurrectionist attacks.

When the Covenant reappeared in the early 2560s, the Patrol Boat proved to be an effective asset to down Covenant dropships over bodies of water, with the rear-mounted 20mm Cannon, and the rapid fire 3 inch gun forward of the bridge.
