The Headstrong-class Light Cruiser was a class of advanced, limited-use light capital ship employed by the United Nations Space Command Navy. Often the target of experimental upgrades, numerous Headstrongs would be operated by the Office of Naval Intelligence's Advanced Warfare Fleet. During their reign, they led numerous smaller battlegroups to success during the Second Great War. Following these achievements, vessels of the line would receive timely modifications as they found their way into the rapid-paced action of the Galactic War, including state-of-the-art Particle Accelerator Cannons and more efficient M7 General Purpose Cannons, increasing their capability against increasingly powerful enemies such as the Covenant and the various factions comprising the Veer race.
