I don't think we need any more rollbackers. The only power they (we) have that regular users don't is rolling back multiple edits from the same user, which is only really useful against vandalism, more specifically repeated edits of the same page. It's been pointed out that we have enough admins- admins who have rollback rights in addition to many others, and thus are more useful/less redundant than rollbackers.
As much as I wish I could counter this and say we're a huge community in need of more, I have to concur. The rollbackers and admins are sufficient for this point in time. --Am I a Lion, or a Lamb? Or a Boy?Saint or Sinner? The Lost Books 23:06, December 20, 2011 (UTC)
Can I be a Rollbacker? Please say Yes or No. I think I am not suitable but let's try
While there's no hard and fast rules, I'm afraid that you've neither contributed enough to the site nor been around long enough to be considered. --LOMISpeaketh 19:23, January 9, 2015 (UTC)
Rollbackers are users who have been a part of our community for some time and are trusted with these powers. It's not just edits that matter, but community interaction as well. Generally being an active editor and being a regular on the wiki's IRC channel will go a long way in getting you considered for the job. However, three of our recently-retired Administrators have just become Rollbackers, so we really don't need any more at this moment in time. We'll consider promoting users if one of our current Rollbackers retires. Nice to see you at least taking an interest in helping out around the site, though.
