The Gwam'l (Taxonomically Vespertiliones attelebis; dubbed Ghouls by humans) are an aggressive near-mammalian race, often compared to "wingless bats". It has been noted that they prefer not to wear any form of clothing. They, along with the Raaif, founded the Raaif-Gwam'l Pact.
Biology and physiology[]
Although they are similar to mammals, the Gwam'l share certain traits with reptiles, such as them being cold-blooded. Their homeworld was supposedly a very lush, temperate world, were the Gwam'l quickly arose as the planets only tribal predators. Their appearance likens them to giant, wingless, eyeless bats; relatable to those of Earth. A spinal ridge run across their outer back, suggesting that they featured a partial exoskeleton. Their lack of eyes has been made-up for with an enhanced "radar-like" sense, as their sensitive skin is capable of tracking waves and currents of air, where they are then able to determine near exact location and size.
