Senior Chief Petty Officer Gabrielle-060 was a SPARTAN-II supersoldier and member of Project DEMOPHILUS. Originally one of the 150 candidates cited by Doctor Catherine Halsey as being physically and mentally superior to her peers at a young age, Gabrielle was slated to be abducted as part of the doctor's SPARTAN-II program, though budgetary cuts meant she was excluded from the final project. This did not last long though, as Gabrielle and the other 74 children not chosen for Halsey's program were soon abducted for the spin-off program known as DEMOPHILUS. Taken to the industrial world of New Carthage, Gabrielle and the others were subjected to eight years of brutal training, forging each of them into living weapons. Unlike their Reach counterparts, who had been mobilized to fight the alien force known as the Covenant, the Spartans of DEMOPHILUS were deployed solely against Insurrectionist targets in order to keep pressure on the rebellion and prevent them from using the chaos to gain ground. During this time, Gabrielle became well known within ONI for her skills in reconnaissance and hit-and-run tactics. By the early-2530s, Gabrielle and a majority of DEMOPHILUS Spartans were finally redeployed en masse against the Covenant, taking up the fight in dozens of different warzones across human space. After the end of the war, Gabrielle continued deploying against both human insurgents and Covenant remnant forces as part of ONI's Special Activities Division.

Early Life[]
Gabrielle was born Gabrielle Stallings in the small town of Plydown, Enley, on the world of Estuary. At a young age, she displayed incredible talent, both physically and academically, which marked her as a potential candidate for the SPARTAN-II Program. After genetic tests taken under the guise of the Outer Colony Vaccination Program confirmed her exceptional genes, she was chosen as the sixtieth candidate for Doctor Halsey's supersoldier program. Before she could be apprehended though, Halsey's funding for the program was cut in half, leaving room for only seventy five candidates rather than the original 150, leaving Gabrielle behind.
In reality, the budgetary cuts had been orchestrated by Doctor Herschel Schmidt, a military scientist and rival of Halsey's, who intended to copy her methodology and replicate its results for ONI. As a result, on December 5th, 2517, just days before her birthday, she was kidnapped by ONI agents while at her daycare and replaced with a flash close, which died several years later due to the onset of several degenerative neurological diseases. The young girl would be placed into cryogenic suspension and taken to the Inner Colony of New Carthage to undergo the training that would make her into a Spartan.
