The Friedensbewegung (Peace Movement), often called the Frieden movement, was a fascist organization founded on Europa in 2151 that opposed the rise of neo-communism and the long-standing authority of the United Nations, and engaged in violence and open warfare against both until its official dissolution in 2170. Officially created in the city of Katreus, the Frieden movement did not openly embrace violence until 2158, when it bombed an embassy in the Europan city of Thynia.

Subordinate organizations

Celestial Legionaries Originally founded in 2102 as a movement to support UN peacekeeping operations in the colonies, the Celestial Legionaries transitioned into an armed militia for the protection of colonial rights against perceived government misbehavior in the 2130s. Lacking real centralized leadership, the Legionaries were mostly chapter-based throughout UEG Space. While initially sympathetic to the Koslovic movement, clashes between Legionaries and Koslovics escalated steadily from 2137 onwards; by 2160, the actions of the Frieden movement convinced the majority of Celestial Legionaries chapters to pledge their loyalty to Nadja Mielke. Dark Star Command An association of shipper crews founded in 2136, intended to keep Koslovic influence locked out of major shipping channels. Primarily active throughout the Belt, Dark Star Command was present in Jovian and Martian space as well, and had a number of chapters on Luna. Despite early involvement with the unsanctioned Battle of 4 Vesta, the association's rapid compliance with Mielke's orders ensured the survival of the Dark Star Command within the movement. The association was integrated into organized Frieden space forces in 2163, and was effectively defunct by 2165. White Wolves of Ceres A vicious anti-UEG militia founded on Ceres in 2149. Initially sponsored by the BRVK Group, the White Wolves went underground in 2151 following their designation as a terrorist militia; subsequent support was found in the less-discerning Fischer-Jung GmbH. After pledging allegiance to the Frieden movement in March 2160, the militia chafed under the movement's perceived inaction throughout the rest of 2160. The White Wolves attempted to force the movement into open war with the UEG by violently attacking and occupying 4 Vesta; instead, Mielke disavowed the White Wolves and their compatriots and kicked them out of the movement's ranks entirely. The White Wolves of Ceres fought to the last but were destroyed by UEG forces in August 2161.
