Personality and Traits[]
- Ka'nar: "The courage your cousin exudes is without equal among our keep. You would be wise to learn from his example, son."
- Sona: "And I think he'd be wise to learn from mine. But wisdom is not his strong suit, is it?"
- ―Sona and Ka'nar discussing Fira
Fira had a brash and adventurous streak, a trait that would surpass his better judgement even into adulthood. Having first met Autel 'Vadam as children when they both snuck out of their respective keeps, he would often be the one leading the albino into an abundance of mischief. A restless spirit by all counts, Fira was both outspoken and hot-headed in many regards, something his older cousin Sona disapproved of and sought to temper growing up. However, Fira's uncle Ka'nar, elder of the Demal Keep, took well to his unflinching nature, which he would compare in contrast to Sona's more restrained and cautious ideals. Though Fira's flippant personality was often considered impudent among his more stoic peers, his uncanny sense of humour became a welcome source of morale after he accompanied Autel into exile in 2535.
Despite Fira's outward impulsiveness, he possessed a keen eye for detail, and his quick instincts and steady hand made him a gifted sharpshooter among the aspiring warriors. He trained in sword combat at a perfunctory level throughout his childhood, but found it boorish and considered the accompanying notions of honour highly impractical. He and Autel were unfalteringly loyal to one another, with Fira acting as Autel's eyes both in combat and otherwise. So strong was their bond that it was the imminent drafting of Fira into the Covenant that spurred Autel into defeating his kaidon and reversing the conscription order in 2531. When Autel accepted the Prophet of Truth's deal in 2542, Fira stood by the decision in spite of his personal reservations, unwilling to leave his friend to deal with the slippery Prophet without him.
