PROJECT GOALS: The covert kidnapping, replacement, and conscription of children from across human civilization with the optimal genetic makeup and mold them into the greatest weapons in the UNSC’s arsenal against any threat, with the Insurrection being the intended target. To accomplish this, the most cutting edge biomechanical augmentation, training, and equipment would be utilized. PROJECT GOALS: Unknown, seemingly to provide the Covenant’s ruling class, the San’Shyuum with some sort of special forces unit. They are enhanced with a variety of unknown methods including with Forerunner technology, however none have ever been captured, and intelligence suggests they may have been wiped out to the last, leaving most details a mystery. PROJECT GOALS: To produce more Spartan-grade soldiers utilizing the conscription methods of the original SPARTAN-II program and that of the S-III program to acquire trainees from a genetic parameter identical to that of the SPARTAN-III’s. Due to budgetary constraints the SPARTAN’s of HERACLES were issued equipment nearly identical to that of ODSTs, and were forced to use the augmentations utilized by the first class of SPARTAN-II’s. In addition, training for the project was cut short by two years due to the invasion of the world where training took place. A combination of these factors changed the project goals to be little more than to produce an adequate amount of augmented operators to slow the Covenant’s advance. PROJECT GOALS: Supposedly to create combat automatrons capable of superhuman feats. In reality, it was completely fictional and was created as one of several false projects meant to thwart investigation into SPARTAN-II. ADDITIONAL FILES OF NOTE: PROJECT DEMOPHILUS [](as of January 1, 2565) NOTE: DEMOPHILUS is the name reported as being associated with several different supersoldier programs, including THESPIA and SPARTAN-II Class II, leading many to believe that by the end of the war, DEMOPHILUS existed more as an umbrella project rather than a singular program.
PROJECT GOALS: To replicate the efforts of the original SPARTAN-II Program to create Spartan-grade soldiers solely for use by the Office of Naval Intelligence. Using data stolen directly from Doctor Halsey herself, it was used to create an almost exact copy of her program and allowed for a much higher survival rate than that of their Reach-trained cousins. Despite initially being used to fight the Insurrection while the rest of the UNSC focused on the recently arrived Covenant, later groups of Spartans produced under the DEMOPHILUS banner would be deployed against the Covenant as the alien alliance continued to push deeper into human space. Despite producing numerous Spartans during the war, DEMOPHILUS was officially deactivated following the ceasefire between the UNSC and Sangheili separatists, though it would continue working in secret for many years afterwards, being officially revived several times over the years. PROJECT GOALS: To create smaller batches of Spartan-grade soldiers outside of the Class structure established by Dr. Halsey as a form of stopgap measure in between the more substantial classes of SPARTAN-II which would fall under the larger umbrella of DEMOPHILUS. THESPIA saw the transition of DEMOPHILUS training philosophy move away from the single operator basis it had begun with towards the team-based system Dr. Halsey had utilized for her original program. PROJECT JAVELIN[](as of January 1, 2565) NOTE: Anomalies regarding the exact particulars of JAVELIN have been discovered within several departments of the Office of Naval Intelligence; a similar investigation within the UNSC Air Force found no such deviations. PROJECT GOALS: To create SPARTAN-grade supercommando-pilots capable of interfacing with a next-generation strike fighter, sourced from consenting adult veterans. Physical attributes are multiplied through the use of advanced cybernetics and minimal implementation of invasive surgical procedures, to allow the use of the GEN1 MJOLNIR PAA. Since its supposed deactivation, many aspects of JAVELIN have been incorporated into the SPARTAN-IV Program; in particular, their work on reducing artificial organ rejection rates proved useful. PROJECT GOALS: To recruit and train a small selection of SPARTAN-II candidates not chosen for Catherine Halsey's Reach-based SPARTAN-II program. Established partly due to lobbying by Frederick King using funds from Project BRUTUS, SIGMA's smaller scale would allow for a more focused training regime for its twenty subjects, who were initially planned to work as a cadre of assassins for the Office of Naval Intelligence until the growing threat of the Insurrection had them marked for counter-insurgency operations before their training was completed. The group would later be split into three distinct teams as the Human-Covenant War broke out, handling missions under the UNSC Navy, Office of Naval Intelligence and UNSC Army respectively against the alien threat. PROJECT GOALS: Intended to explore the viability of deploying heavily armed and armored robots as highly mobile weapons platforms in the place of conventional frontline infantry. This would evolve into sophisticated, heavily armed and armored, A.I controlled robots which could undertake otherwise suicidal missions and take the place of regular infantry such as heavy frontline combat due to their ability to condense the firepower of armored units into significantly smaller platforms.

PROJECT GOALS: Produce augmented personnel to field test experimental equipment and serve as force multipliers in mainline units. A single class of fifty candidates was selected, though in the end only 12 such 'Knights of Camelot' graduated into the field, with the rest dropping out of the program, or dying during augmentation. The program was destroyed and all personnel involved were killed, including a second ‘class’ by Covenant orbital bombardment barring LtCol. Meyrick. All graduated personnel aside from Codename: BEDIVERE were KIA before the war’s close, with the Battle of Pelago accounting for the majority of casaulties.
