Ergost 'Norsan, a former member of the Covenant's Technological Development Division, went on to become the leader of the design team for the USR's starship rearmament program, creating the majority of the ship's designs by himself. Joining the Covenant military at a young age, he was engaged in many of the battles of the Human-Covenant War up to 2542, when he suffered critical wounds to his right side that severely handicapped the use of his right arm and leg. After this, he was transferred to the Covenant Technological Development Division, where he once again excelled and became a top designed of the Covenant's latest models of ships, vehicles and weapons. When the Covenant experienced the Great Schism, Ergost naturally sided with his brethren, and when the United Sangheili Republic was formed, he once more offered his services to his kindred. He went on to design all the newest ship classes during the USR's rearmament program, before dying shortly thereafter.
