Commander Eli-B078 is a SPARTAN-III commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command. He served throughout the Human-Covenant War notably as the commander of Talon Team during the Fall of reach.

During the Fall of Reach, he and Talon Team would combat Anwi 'Eikumee's forces alongside ODST unit Sigma-Fourteen and other marines of the 41st Shock Troops Division. However, Eli would later fall to Anwi's blade alone, overlooking the glassing of Reach into the next morning on August 31st, 2552.
