It took Andra five years to find her place in the universe. Then it all came tumbling down.
Her nation vanished. Machines declared imperium. Her friends fell like dominos. But no matter what, Merlin returned to her.
Call it luck or destiny. She didn’t care. The boy from Ballast always returned.
Her nightmares lied of his disappearances and betrayals. Escaping the dark brought her back to a nightmarish reality. But here, Merlin remained.
“I love you,” the girl from Sigma Octanus mumbled for the first time in his embrace.
“I love you too,” Merlin promised as he held her close against snow and space.
