A vicious mercenary band operating on the fringe of the Inner Colonies, the Crimson Claws are led by Duncan Foreman and are known for their brutal treatment of hostages, causing property damage, murder and stealing objects of value. The organization's reputation precedes them so much that law enforcement is authorized to shoot identified members on sight for their actions.
They, along with their leader, are prominently featured in the medium-sized story Halo: Lone Commando, in which they come into conflict with the SPARTAN-II Doug-103.
