Overview

The Canberra-Class Battlecruiser is a ship design similar to the Autumn-class heavy cruiser, based on the hull frame of the mythical Marathon-class cruiser. Far larger when compared to the Marathon-class, it is more heavily armed and armoured but still retains its frontal twin-MAC gun design.

Role

The Canberra-Class Battlecruiser is designed as combat support in space, for the larger and heavier Vindication-class battleship. Its 2 frontal MAC guns are designed to breach through an enemy barrage. Like most UNSC ships, it also has the ability to launch a total of 10 squadrons of fighters for space and ground support. It can also deploy a brigade-sized unit of marines, along with a full complement of vehicles.
