The Battle of the Ingred Customs Outpost was a small conflict between UNSC and pirate forces during the First Human Civil War. It began when an unusually well-armed fleet of pirate vessels attacked an unescorted convoy of commercial freighters just as they disengaged from a small UNSC checkpoint station on a barren natural satellite. The private security forces on the cargo ships were quickly overrun when the ships were boarded. Consequently, the convoy, along with its valuable stowed resources, and the outpost were lost to the insurgents.
