UNSC Battle Group Jitou is an expeditionary fleet within the UNSC Navy. Battle Group Jitou was formed during the Insurrection war, before Operation: TREBUCHET, a response to civilian uprisings, was initiated.

Battle of Chernarus[]
Battle Group Jitou was the sole combatant fleet involved in re-taking Chernarus, an outer colony that was lost in 2509. At the battle, the battle group exited slipspace near the planet and entered the atmosphere with ease.
After entering the planet's atmosphere, Battle Group Jitou immediately deployed six unarmed D77-TCs, with roughly 20 101st Marine Battalion personnel on board each one, to create a Forward Operations Base, and then take Lopatino, a heavily defended town.
Once Lopatino was taken by the 101st BN, they deployed two M313 Elephants and performed a pincer attack on the neighboring town, Vybor and built three more FOBs within the area between the two towns.
