Amadi Anagonye (service number 42832-29763-AA) is a fourth-generation supersoldier of UNSC Spartan Operations who initially served in the UNSC Marine Corps during the Human-Covenant War, notably with Unified Special Warfare Command.
Participating in 103 military operations over the course of the interstellar conflict, Anagonye is a distinguished combat veteran of more than seventeen years' experience. During much of his later tenure with the Marine Corps, he was an ADS operator with the notorious 23rd Special Armored Regiment of Special Warfare Group FIVE. He was later inducted into the SPARTAN-IV program following the war's conclusion, at which point he regularly took part in classified missions for the Office of Naval Intelligence.

Early life[]
Amadi was born on November 11, 2514 in the West African Union's Greater Lagos Metropolitan Region and was raised in Fashola Complex, a large arcology situated in the Atlantic Zone. He was the second of three children born to a pediatrician mother and architect father; he had an elder brother, Uzo, as well as a younger sister named Uche.
Anagonye's decision to join the armed forces in 2531 was largely influenced by Uzo, who enlisted in the UNSC Army only three years prior only to die in combat on Nova Brasília during its 2530 invasion. Despite the protestations of his family, Amadi shipped out for Basic in March 2531 and was eventually assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Force stationed at Athabasca.
