SPARTAN-D007, born Urbano Amadeus Osvaldo, later renamed Amadeus James Parsons, nicknamed "Walter" by several Spartan comrades, and designated Codename: EIDETIC, was a SPARTAN-III Commando, the last survivor of twenty Delta Company operatives that were illegally produced at the end of the war by Brigadier General Conan D'Souza of ONI Section III. An five-year-old orphan after the destruction of Sargasso, Amadeus was recruited by D'Souza and spent a year in training before undergoing augmentations. Despite D'Souza's limited assets, he managed to not only ensure a perfect record during the augmentations, but provided his troops with powered armor on par with MJOLNIR.
Amadeus was deployed along with his three-man team shortly after augmentations: the team would operate behind enemy lines for six months before participating in several covert operations during the Battle of Earth. After the Covenant's defeat, D'Souza redeployed Amadeus' team along with a replacement member to ensure that his illegal company was not seen. When Operation: VORAUSSICHT began to heat up, D'Souza went dark and transferred all his liquid supplies and assets to secure locations, leaving his SPARTAN teams at the mercy of fate. Abandoned behind enemy lines, Amadeus would be the sole survivor of his team, only barely making it back to UNSC space with one other teammate, Conner-D003: when the pair arrived, they were seen as a threat by VORAUSSICHT operatives, leading to a large misunderstanding a firefight, ending in Conner's death.

Officially, the SPARTAN-III Program's Delta Company was never begun: unofficially, Major General Conan D'Souza of ONI Section 3 took fifteen of the proposed company's candidates and proceeded to replicate the effects of the S-III Program, creating for himself fifteen personal bodyguards and grim reapers. Amadeus was the last surviving member of the illegal Spartans, the others either killed during the Great Schism or murdered by D'Souza as he attempted to cover his tracks during the infamous post-war "Spartangate"[2] investigations.
