The AIM-445 Thanatos is an anti-missile and anti-plasma torpedo countermissile developed by the UNSC Navy for ship defence. While its primary role is breaking up and dispersing plasma torpedoes by deploying a cloud of ferro-titanium dust, it can function equally well as an anti-missile weapon with a kinetic kill warhead.
